mr. part the red sea with your staff guy

camp tallowood 07 was so fab.  truly.  I just love my church.  It makes me sad how few people at st agnes have a dynamic, awesome, growing relationship with our Creator.  plus I just got to hang with people and swim in a river and go on hikes and play acquire the tire.  SWELL.
I'm quite sad the seniors are leaving though.  especially laura m.  and emily and sarah and mallory and joel and DJ.
this entry falls waay short of describing the awesomeness of camp t-wood. oh well.
photos on fbook for those who care.

Before the throne of God above
I have a strong and perfect plea
A great high Priest whose name is love
Who ever lives and pleads for me.
My name is graven on His hands,
My name is written on His heart.
I know that while in heaven He stands
No tongue can bid me thence depart.

When Satan tempts me to despair
And tells me of the guilt within,
Upward I look and see Him there
Who made an end to all my sin.
Because the sinless Savior died
My sinful soul is counted free.
For God the just is satisfied
To look on Him and pardon me.

Behold Him there the risen Lamb
My perfect spotless righteousness,
The great unchangeable I AM,
The King of glory and of grace,
One in Himself I cannot die.
My soul is purchased with His blood,
My life is hid with Christ on high,
With Christ my Savior and my God.

she loves you yeah, yeah, yeah

This week was pretty excellent.  I drove to school.
Last night I rediscovered the brilliance of Little Miss Sunshine.
This entry sucks.

School needs to end NOW; it's making me emo.  It's weird that I'll be a junior in four months.

"Hello, my name is Pretty Screwed Up. What is yours? Oh it is so good to meet you Screwed Up Too. Alas, should you come over, we can have some fresh grace. Of course it's necessary. Have you ever been changed for the better by someone feeding you a condemning look or judgment without caring? Then grace it is!

My dearest friends. Never underestimate the power of grace. Everyone is goofy and flawed and often time very inappropriate. Let us dish out grace and in great measure while not forgetting the grace that has been shown us. Or rather lavished on us."

-Lee Vanderpool

that's about all i feel like saying.

MESSIAH TWO K SIX

I know everyone's saying this but I love everyonnne in choir.  And we sounded so awesome.  And the solos were super amazing and Katherine's like made me cry and I couldn't stop smiiiling.  Oh, and Friday night Tiffany Cobb and Co. came and that was SUPER AWESOME.  I love love love lvoe love choir and singing and arthur buckley's facial contortions while he listens to messiah solos.  I don't think I ever want to be a senior.  Because all my friends will be gone and it will be my LAST messiah everrrr.
I think I'm going to marry the Taste of Texas Restaurant.  Last night was my first shift as an official hostess and they gave me this humongo chart of table numbers to memorize.  But the other girls are so nice and I feel oober important carrying menus and wine lists and walking around in a uniform.  The managers and waiters all wear ear thingies and we have walkie talkies and stuff.  There's soo much stuff to do and they get really busy.

things that beat out studying for finals
1) messiah
2) facebook
3) mugglecast
4) fantasizing about 57 days from now when I will get a driver's license and thus, not have to get rides to church/work/secret outings (ha)
5) sleeping
6) eating

O Holy night, the stars are brightly shining
It is the night of our dear Savior's birth
Long lay the world in sin and error pining
Till he appeared and the soul felt its worth
A thrill of hope the weary world rejoices,
For yonder breaks a new and glorious morn.
Fall on your knees
Oh hear the angel voices
Oh night divine
Oh night when Christ was born
